PepIDENT: bioPeptide Libraries for non-random protein specific peptide libraries and Peptidomics
bioPeptides are an alternative to chemical peptides with a cost and quality advantage providing much more flexibility.

bioPeptides can be regenerated unlimited.

bioPeptides are well defined peptides synthesized by ribosomes of high biological quality.

This chemistry does show no chemical side reactions like in peptide chemistry where the quality issue is most not negligible. Overlapping peptide pattern can be designed very systematically without sequence bias to reasonable cost. First synthesis is a unique DNA-design creating stable 1:1 stoichiometries in CDS - coding sequence maintenance libraries. This can be guaranteed. The library size compared to random libraries is much smaller with low complexity and defined composition. During amplification the loss of complexity is by far not as dramatic like in random libraries. In addition once synthesized one time the maintainance library can be propagated ultimately. Thus we can redeliver you with peptide CDS - libraries as long as you need. For the synthesis of bioPeptides size ranges from small peptides to larger peptides up to (Mini-)proteins (e.g. 8 aa – e.g. 50 aa ) are possible. The resulting bioPeptide - CDS (coding sequences) can be fused with several different available carrier proteins. Once synthesized one library can be provided and propagated in a number of different forms! Just indicate which carrier protein you like to have. Peptide libraries can be produced and provided from single proteins up to several proteins as well as protein variants. In addition the size of the libraries can be up-scaled to all proteins of small genomes e.g. viral genomes. This high complexity of genomic peptide libraries leads to Peptidomics

There are no irrelevant peptides and no empty vectors comparable as well as very low background in analysis. You can use it on filter assays, dot plot, reverse dot plot from random access libraries to Peptide - MicroArrays (Epitopes)

We deliver to you a "one tube" Peptide – CDS - Library already sub-cloned into the screening vector pPID-CDS
containing a cloning site in frame of a carrier protein gene of your choice.

The sub-cloning of the bioPeptide - CDS-Library is already tested and documented by ATG.


The pricing of PepIDENT heavily depends on the single protein or the proteins or the Peptidome of YOUR choice the overlapping pattern of the bioPeptide designs are intended for. For instruction purposes there are formal examples of a 100 aa testProtein for two bioPeptide libraries (12/4, 12/8) listed. Please download an INQUIRY document form here....

In this form you can fill in at least one protein you like to have a specific bioPeptide design and an OFFER for.
In this form please indicate the length of the peptides and the number of overlapp.

The carrier protein (e.g. GST, pGIII or VIII, His-Tag) for the bioPeptides of your choice (see Listing 1.) is needed to be indicated by you.

Table 1. Formal price list for "Screening Ready" PepIDENT – Kits. The standard length of bioPeptides was set on 12 aa (amino acids). Two different overlaps of 4 aa and 8 aa were set for the indicated demonstration above. Any other peptide length are possible. Other length and overlaps are possible, also peptides without overlap. This Kits are designed for filter assays were the bacterial E. coli colonies are incubated with the serum antibodies of patients. After screenings the identified and evaluated bioPeptides can be integrated on a MicroArray - chip for example.
